 The Association partners with the Chartered Institute of Hospitality, Tourism and Management to ensure a unified qualification framework for its members where registered members of the Association acquires international training.

The association amplifies  culinary connectivity through competitions, and educational programs, creating ecosystems where professionals exchange ideas, benchmark skills, and drive industry evolution

The Annual National Culinary

The Annual National Culinary Summit is a yearly upgrade program of the Association where culinary practitioners, food bloggers, food writers, caterers, trainers and promoters come together for the purpose of food tourism promotion, training, exposure and networking. It holds in rotation around the country.

The 10th Culinary Summit tagged NIGER DELTA FOOD FESTIVAL is scheduled for the 10th to 15th of August 2025 in Port Harcourt Rivers State Nigeria.

UNITED NATIONS WORLD FOOD DAY

United Nation World Food day is observed by every State Chapter on the 16th October every year.

World Chefs Day is observed by individual State Chapters every 20th October every year

THE WEST AFRICAN FOOD FESTIVAL (WAFFEST)

The WEST AFRICAN FOOD FESTIVAL (WAFFEST) is a major event of the West African Chefs to promote, celebrate and sustain the West African food culture.

It is a magnificent event which is held annually in rotation among the West African State but draws participants from all over Africa to compete, be trained, network, showcase individual culinary skills and initiative.

The Worldchefs Congress & Expo

The World Chefs Congress is the global leading platform that brings together chef delegates and professionals from across the five continents, and delivers a unique program to help industry players network and expand their professional bonds.

ABOUT US

Association of Professional Chefs Nigeria (APCN) is a the official representative of the Nigerian Chefs since its inauguration at Calabar the capital of Cross River State. in 2011 and subsequently registered under the laws of the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2012.

It is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization. APCN is endorsed and enjoys the support of all Tourism and hospitality agencies in Nigeria. APCN is a registered member of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN). With a wide range of National and international affiliations, APCN has it presence in the thirty-six states of the federation including FCT –Abuja

THE HAAPI FOOD FESTIVAL

The African Chefs United with the headquarters in Johannesburg, SA has been the first galvanizing force of the African Chefs with the Hospitality All African Imbizo (HAAPI). it is an annual event hosted in rotation around African countries.

Since 2013, the HAAPI festival has been dedicated to enriching African societies and economies by celebrating and preserving our cultural heritage.

AFRICAN CHEF ALLIANCE

The African Chefs Alliance with its headquarters in Monrovia, Liberia is Africa’s largest network of Chefs and gastronomy experts. ACA is a non-profit, multi-cultural, inclusive and transparent organisation promoting, advocation and facilitating multi-national representation and collaborative interaction and prioritising culinary education and the preservation of our gastronomic heritage.
