There are several international events around the globe that helps to promote every country’s food tourism potentials.

The WEST AFRICAN FOOD FESTIVAL (WAFFEST) is a major event of the West African Chefs to promote, celebrate and sustain the West African food culture.

It is a magnificent event which is held annually in rotation among the West African State but draws participants from all over Africa to compete, be trained, network, showcase individual culinary skills and initiative.

The World Chefs Congress is held in rotation around the world every two years and is the most prestigious event to attend.

The event offers participants ample opportunity to network with the global industry at a spot.

The African Chefs United with the headquarters in Johannesburg, SA has been the first galvanizing force of the African Chefs with the Hospitality All African Imbizo (HAAPI).

it is an annual event hosted in rotation around African countries.

The African Chefs Alliance with its headquarters in Monrovia, Liberia is Africa’s largest network of Chefs and gastronomy experts encouraging and supporting growth of National and regional blocks to develop.

With all these international bodies, several events pops up everywhere and in all, Nigeria is ably and constantly represented by the Nigerian Chefs.
