The Association positioned itself to ensure the upgrading of culinary professionals for quality and standard service delivery in the country through constant training which brought about the first ever National Chefs Workshop held at Jorany Hotel, Calabar in 2012.
The second edition at Editims Hotel, Port Harcourt in 2013 exposured the burning desire in the Nigerian Chefs to advance and take charge of the huge demand for services in the industry.
Between 2015 and 2023, several trainings and competitions have either been organized or attended by Nigerian Chefs both in the country and outside the country.
Putting the country on the global food map is commitment therefore it became imperative for the Association to take Nigeria’s food tourism on its shoulder as the representatives of the country in Turkey, Johannesburg, Accra, Freetown, Lome etc.
